Trig Avionics supports grass roots pilot at World Microlight Championships 2024
Trig Avionics is a sponsor for the World Microlight Championships 2024.
This is a landmark event in the microlight aviation calendar, attracting top pilots from around the globe.
This year, Trig Avionics is particularly thrilled to be in contact with Slovakian pilot Jany Lacuch, who will be flying with Rogallo Team. The team currently has a Trig TT21 Transponder installed on their trike and has plans to upgrade to ADS-B Out capabilities, by installing a TN72 GPS position source. This upgrade will enhance their flight safety and operational efficiency, as the team fly in controlled airspace.
“We are delighted to sponsor the World Microlight Championships 2024 and support talented pilots like Jany Lacuch and Rogallo8 Team,” said Garmir da Costa, Head of Sales and Marketing at Trig Avionics. “Our commitment to providing reliable avionics products, for all classes of aircraft, aligns perfectly with the spirit embodied by this event. We look forward to seeing Rogallo Team compete and fly with Trig technology.”
Rogallo team, known for their skill and competitive spirit, placed 3rd in class last year at the championship test event. We look forward to next week, so they can showcase their experience and capabilities of their aircraft.
“We are grateful for the support of Trig Avionics,” said Jany Lacuch. “The TT21 Transponder has already made a significant difference to our flying experience, and we are excited about the potential upgrade to ADS-B Out with the TN72 GPS position source.”
Trig is proud to support pilots at the ‘grass roots’ of aviation, fostering talent and safety in microlight aviation. This event is a great opportunity to recognise the passion and dedication of microlight and grassroots pilots, and ensuring they have the best avionics to fly safely and confidently.
