AERO Friedrichshafen is always a highlight on the aviation calendar
but this year felt particularly special for us. As it was the first time, Trig Avionics attended as part of The Dynon Group, and it’s fair to say the experience exceeded expectations.
Visitors were keen to see how our products work together in practice and the feedback was encouraging – particularly due to a new software release that improved interfacing. Pilots and aircraft owners appreciated the seamless integration between Trig’s trusted communication and surveillance equipment and Dynon’s advanced avionics systems—it’s a winning combination for LSA, ultra-lights, microlights and aircraft alike in European airspace.
One of the standout aspects of the show, was the aircraft on display. It was fantastic to see so many well-known and respected manufacturers featuring both Trig and Dynon systems. Aircraft from brands like JMB, Shark, Alpi, and Bristell were turning heads across the showground, many equipped with our combined avionics solutions. Seeing these installations in real-world applications is always rewarding—and a strong reminder of how widely adopted both brands have become in Europe.
Another key takeaway from AERO 2026 is just how accessible Dynon systems have become across Europe. With products now readily available to purchase and ship throughout the region—and supported by a growing network of skilled and knowledgeable dealers—customers have more options than ever when it comes to upgrading or equipping their aircraft. That local expertise is making installations smoother and helping more pilots take advantage of what Dynon and Trig systems can offer together.
A notable moment during the event was the recognition of Dynon’s SkyView HDX system, which was nominated by Flieger Magazin for “Best Glass Cockpit.” This nomination reflects the continued innovation and industry recognition of Dynon’s technology.
This also marked the first European show where we showcased the TT23 transponder series. With an integrated GPS option in a compact form factor, TT23G offers a lightweight and affordable route to ADS-B Out compliance for the European market. This was particularly well received at the show, with strong interest from both OEMs and installers looking for a simple, compliant solution.
Overall, AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 exceeded expectations. The positive feedback from customers, the strength of engagement across the industry, and the visibility of Trig and Dynon systems across so many aircraft all point to an exciting future as part of the Dynon Group.
