Trig Avionics at Sun ‘n Fun 2025 – Planes, Partnerships and Plenty of Sunshine
Trig Avionics was proud to attend Sun ‘n Fun 2025 in Lakeland, Florida – one of the largest and most vibrant aviation gatherings of the year. With sunshine, a great crowd, and incredible aircraft on display, the week was packed with highlights, including exciting new partnerships and the chance to reconnect with friends across the aviation community.
Partnership Announcement – Rebuild Rescue
A major highlight of the week was celebrating our newly announced partnership with Rebuild Rescue. On Tuesday, Jason from the Rebuild Rescue YouTube channel made an appearance on the Trig booth, where he hosted a giveaway of raffle tickets for the 1961 Piper Cherokee 160 – part of a charitable giveaway supporting the Rebuild Rescue Foundation – with Trig Avionics installed.
Jason also caught up with Trig CEO Andy Davis, with plenty of “shop talk” around avionics, aircraft restoration, and the shared mission to make flying more accessible. It was fantastic to see the buzz around the partnership and to share this with the Sun ‘n Fun audience.
Commemorative Air Force – Tampa Bay Wing
We were also proud to showcase our ongoing partnership with the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) – Tampa Bay Wing. The CAF team joined us at the Trig booth throughout the week, helping to share the story of their incredible aircraft (Fairchild PT-19) and dedication to preserving aviation history.
For the first time, the Trig team had the opportunity to visit the Tampa Bay Wing aircraft in person – something that hadn’t been possible before due to distance. It was a special moment to see the aircraft up close with Trig installed and meet more of the CAF team who bring history to life with every flight.
Pilots and Partners
As always, Sun ‘n Fun was a brilliant opportunity to meet with our valued customers, dealers, and partners. The Trig booth was a hub of conversation and connection all week, with a strong turnout and lots of enthusiasm for our compact and stack avionics solutions.
“It’s always a pleasure to be at Sun ‘n Fun,” said Garmir da Costa, Head of Sales and Marketing. “The atmosphere is unbeatable – and so was the heat! A big thank you to everyone who came by to chat, ask questions, and share their Trig stories.”
With new partnerships, warm reunions, and some very warm weather, Sun ‘n Fun 2025 was a great success. Trig is already looking forward to next year’s event – and continuing to support the aviation community with dependable, innovative avionics.
Clear Skies!
