France Air Expo – see you in Lyon

June 7, 2022

France’s premier general aviation show, Air Expo returns to Lyon Bron Airport from the 9th  to the 11th of June.

Billed as France’s biggest general and business aviation show, it attracts an international audience of aircraft manufacturers and equipment vendors. Trig Avionics is well represented at the show, with the following Approved Trig Dealers displaying Trig products. Dealers include Bayo, Global Aviation & Piper Parts, SEAM, Seram-Aéromat and Rectimo. A number of Aircraft OEM companies who use Trig are also at the show these include ATA, JMB, Robin and Tecnam.

Trig’s Senior Sales Account Manager, Dean Bryce will be on the show ground to assist customers. Dean said, “France has always had a genuine passion for aviation. The market is broad and includes enthusiastic ultra-light and microlight aircraft owners, as well as many light-sport and general aviation types too. Trig caters for all these customers; I’m looking forward to meeting new and existing customers, look out for my Trig blue polo-shirt and do say hello.”

Attendees will be able to see Trig’s stack products, including TMA44/TMA45 Audio Panels, the TY96 VHF stack radio, TX56 Nav/Com and TT31 Mode S Transponder. Trig has shared that the Nav/Com is expected to ship in the first half of 2022. This will be an exciting milestone, Trig can then offer a complete avionics stack to aircraft owners that is slimline, good looking and affordable.

Trig’s compact products are popular with French pilots, these avionics are ideally suited where panel space is tight. Trig’s TT21 transponder and the matching TY91 VHF radio both use a unique compact form factor that uses minimal space and weight. Trig’s compact products are certified and proven, having been deployed in numerous world record breaking endeavors. From the high altitude Perlan 2 glider – flying at the edge of space, to the recent flight by Zara Rutherford, the world youngest female pilot to circumnavigate the globe.

Trig is promoting the wider use of ADS-B Out across Europe. This follows EASA’s drive to improve safety and reduce collision risks in VFR flight. The TN72 GPS Position Source is a simple and highly cost-effective upgrade to any Trig transponder. When installed with a suitable GPS antenna (which Trig also offers) an aircraft owner and passengers can enjoy enhanced safety, as the transponder and TN72 makes them visible to all ADS-B In traffic equipped aircraft.
