TX56 STC Recognised by EASA – More Options for European Installations
We’ve got great news for our European customers – the TX56 Nav/Com has received official recognition from EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency). This means our FAA STC for the TX56, TX56A, TX57 and TX57A is now accepted in Europe, making it even easier for installers to fit these units in a wide range of aircraft.
This recognition is a big step forward, especially for pilots and engineers looking for a certified solution for both VFR and IFR operations. With more than 650 aircraft types covered under the Approved Model List (AML), and support for both legacy and modern avionics systems, this STC provides real flexibility.
James Forbes, our Customer Support Manager, commented:
“We’re really pleased to see the TX56 STC recognised by EASA. It opens up more opportunities for installations across Europe, especially where certification has previously been a challenge. Huge thanks to our STC partner Metrea for their expertise and continued support in making this happen.”
So whether you’re upgrading an existing panel or working on a new build, the TX56 family is now an even more attractive option for your aircraft.
Trig Approved Dealers can access the STC directly via our Dealer Portal. If you’re a qualified installer looking for access, drop us a line at support@trig-avionics.com and we’ll guide you through the process.
