Trig Avionics Partners with Rebuild Rescue to Support Cherokee 160
Trig Avionics is excited to announce a new partnership with the popular YouTube channel Rebuild Rescue, supporting their latest project – a raffle for a beautifully restored 1961 Piper PA-28 Cherokee 160.
Trig is proud to contribute a suite of modern avionics to the aircraft, including both stack and compact products: TMA44 Audio Panel, TX56A NAV/COM Radio, TT22 Mode S Transponder, TN70 GPS (for ADS-B Out), TA70, TA14, and TA17 Antennas.
These systems will deliver reliable performance and superior quality, transforming the Cherokee’s panel into a safe, capable, and ADS-B Out-compliant environment – ideal for new and experienced pilots alike.
Jason, the creator behind the channel, is passionate about restoring and repurposing aircraft. His goal is to finish building out two larger aircraft – a Cessna 401 and an Aero Commander – which will be used to fly humanitarian missions through The Rescue Foundation.
Rebuild Rescue began buying, restoring, and rehoming aircraft – they have become rather good at it too. The Cherokee 160 is the first of many aircraft to be raffled for The Rescue Foundation – and it’s already 90% complete, with just the avionics to go!
“We’re thrilled to support this project” said Trig CEO, Andy Davis. “He’s doing something different with his channel – it’s great to see forgotten aircraft brought to life again. A great aircraft and fit for Trig Avionics, we’re honoured to play a role in making this Cherokee raffle aircraft one to remember.”
The Cherokee will be showcased at Sun ‘n Fun, featured by multiple aviation influences online to help increase raffle ticket sales, and then awarded to one lucky winner at Oshkosh 2025. Trig’s avionics will be highlighted alongside other high-quality equipment – offering a rare chance to see this panel in action across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
To see the avionics installation, follow @RebuildRescue on social media. Jason will be sharing behind-the-scenes content throughout the installation, giving viewers a closer look at how Trig products – and the rest of the panel – come together in the Cherokee 160.
Trig is thrilled to support this raffle and future projects with Rebuild Rescue. This partnership reflects Trig’s ongoing commitment to supporting the aviation community, and making flying more accessible through high quality, dependable avionics.
