Trig’s 20th Anniversary & Award Nomination

March 11, 2024

The Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) is the premium trade association for avionics installers and certified avionics manufacturers.

This year Trig Avionics has been nominated for the AEA Associate Member of the Year Award, 2024. This year is also Trig’s 20th anniversary, the award nomination reflects the respected reputation that Trig enjoys within the global aviation community.

Trig CEO Andy Davis said, “We are honoured to be on the shortlist as Associate Member of the Year. I established Trig back in 2004. From modest beginnings, today we have a global network of Approved Trig Dealers, dedicated Trig Service Centers and of course numerous satisfied Trig customers. Pilots rely on our avionics to be seen, to communicate and navigate every time they fly. The team are proud to come to the AEA in Dallas, to mark this occasion and to appreciate all the many people who have been part of the Trig story.”

The last two decades have seen some notable milestones for Trig; the first TSO C166b compliant transponder in the world (the ‘plug & play’ TT31 transponder). The tiny TT21 and TT22 compact transponder line, now installed in tens of thousands of aircraft worldwide. More recently, the slimline TY96A VHF radio and TX56A Nav/Coms – these units have set new standards in their form factor and feature set.

Exhibiting its range of stack and compact products at the AEA, these are born from Trig’s ‘Better by Design’ philosophy. This results in avionics that are easy to install, simple to operate and deliver the best mix of quality, features, and value. Trig will be in the AEA conference exhibition hall, at booth 313-315 and offering dealer training as part of the AEA workshop seminar program.

Trig looks forward to celebrating the 20th anniversary milestone with friends in the industry at the AEA and throughout 2024.
